So I don't think I understand your comment here. I believe I am familiar
enough with Debian to know that this is something that *can* be done in
Debian.
I have, in fact, even provided a solution on how to do this in my
original bug description, and so did Fabian earlier in October.
So I am puzzled: this is something that can *definitely* be done in
Debian as far as I know, what makes you think it can't?
