It retrieves unit status, including power state, operating and fan modes, target and current temperatures, and error codes. . It can switch units on or off, set target temperatures, select operating and fan modes, and monitor gateway connectivity. It sends status probes and reconnects when a gateway stops responding. This library is a dependancy of Home Assistant, the Python smart home platform. I plan to maintain it as part of the Home Assistant team.
