the latest rsyslog upstream release contains: - mmnormalize: add optional liblognorm TurboVM acceleration https://github.com/rsyslog/rsyslog/pull/6667 For that, liblognorm needs to be built with --enable-turbo (default=no) This feature appears to be only available on x86_64/amd64 and aarch64/arm64, so debian/rules would have to enable this feature conditionally.
