update-rc.d portmap start 43 S . start 32 0 6 . stop 81 1 .
>/dev/null
portmap should stop at levels 0 and 6, not start.
This machine is not very stable, so I don't know if other people
experience the computer stop responding when trying to halt or reboot, at
portmap.
