Package: python3-mapnik Version: 1:0.0~20240222-5ab32f020-5 Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer, I'm a daily user of python3-mapnik on Debian unstable. I see that the latest version still depends on libmapnik4.1, but this is no longer available on testing or sid (4.2 is), and thus this package has been removed from those releases. Is there anything I can do to help this move forward? -- System Information: Debian Release: forky/sid APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 7.0.13+deb14-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_CPU_OUT_OF_SPEC, TAINT_WARN, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages python3-mapnik depends on: hi libboost-python1.83.0 [libboost-python1.83.0-py313] 1.83.0-5+b2 hi libboost-thread1.83.0 1.83.0-5+b2 ii libc6 2.42-17 ii libcairo2 1.18.4-3+b1 ii libgcc-s1 16.1.0-3 ii libicu76 76.1-4+b1 hi libmapnik4.1 4.1.4+ds-1+b1 ii libstdc++6 16.1.0-3 hi python3 3.13.9-3+b1 ii python3-cairo 1.27.0-3 python3-mapnik recommends no packages. python3-mapnik suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
