The https://ubuntu-archive-team.ubuntu.com/madison.cgi <https://ubuntu-archive-team.ubuntu.com/madison.cgi> endpoint which rmadison -u ubuntu depends on is slated to be removed soon.
After a few conversations in Ubuntu we decided to update devscripts directly instead of adding a madison.cgi compatible endpoint in Launchpad itself (see https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad/+bug/2153451), which requires more extensive changes in the package but should be more sustainable for long term development.
This will also have a few more desirable effects like effectively supporting all Launchpad PPAs (and other archive) since they all use the same APIs and improving the performance of rmadison -u ubuntu.
