Package: elinks Version: 0.9.3-1 Severity: minor
It appears that the default Terminal Options->Frame Handling setting of Linux or OS/2 Frames causes wrong output under an xterm (the lines are replaced with alphabet characters). Changing this to VT100 provides proper output in both an xterm and Linux console. It would seem sensible to make this the default, but I may be overlooking something obvious. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i586) Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-2-586tsc Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages elinks depends on: ii debconf 1.4.30.11 Debian configuration management sy ii libbz2-1.0 1.0.2-5 high-quality block-sorting file co ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libexpat1 1.95.8-1 XML parsing C library - runtime li ii libgnutls11 1.0.16-9 GNU TLS library - runtime library ii libgpmg1 1.19.6-19 General Purpose Mouse - shared lib ii liblua50 5.0.2-5 Main interpreter library for the L ii liblualib50 5.0.2-5 Extension library for the Lua 5.0 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-3 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
