I would appreciate if this would be coordinated with
   https://github.com/akhuettel/engauge-digitizer

According to
   https://github.com/akhuettel/engauge-digitizer/issues/5
the goal was the Qt6 port which was really helpful.  My guess is that
the Gentoo maintainer would happily leave upstream work to other
developers.
