retitle 1114995 /usr/share/GNUstep/Makefiles/GNUstep.sh makes libreoffice not
find its private libraries, preventing startup

affects 1114995 libreoffice

affects 1114995 libreoffice-core

Hi,

Hi,
Finally, I've found the cause of the issue. The script
/usr/share/GNUstep/Makefiles/GNUstep.sh from the package gnustep-common
exports the environment variable

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/home/enikar/GNUstep/Library/Libraries:/usr/local/lib:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu

When I unset it, libreoffice starts correctly.

Oh, dear.

Why is it LD_LIBRARY_PATH'ing stuff in (whatever I assume is your home) and
then stuff which is in the search path anyway?

I wonder why noone saw that so far, though, maybe something is more special
still?

I'm very sorry for that. However, this is still not the expected
behaviour, I guess.

Indeed.

The bug has been fixed for me.

Reassigning to GNUstep for more input.

Regards,

Rene
