jellyfin-desktop has been recently completely rewritten, using Chromium Embedded Framework instead of qt-webengine. It still won't bundle the client, so it does not depend on jellyfin-web.
I still intend to package it, but it currently depends un unpackaged CEF, as well as forked libmpv. So I will wait and see how it evolves.
