Dear FTP Masters, The functionality of this packge is not integrated in the Python Standard library. Upstreams project willing to support Python releases < 3.13 will maybe still want to use this; but it's not needed in Debian anymore. The conditional usage of this package can always be made optional with the right "try/except Importerror" block. The bug is tagged "moreinfo" because 'setuptools' need to be rebuilt first.
