However, they still have other bugs on Debian testing. It does not seem to respond to some IPC messages. You can't open a new file once sioyek is already running (unless you open it from within the running instance).
The last sioyek v2 release is from 2022 and seems to be falling apart on new distros. I think this package should either be removed or upgraded to the v3 alpha release.
