Description:
    wkgtk-html2pdf is a modern, high-fidelity HTML-to-PDF conversion
engine built on WebKitGTK and PoDoFo that turns HTML into a
typesetting language. It is designed specifically to replace the
unmaintained wkhtmltopdf while introducing rigorous document
    validation features. The project homepage
(https://wkgtk-html2pdf.com) serves as a live demonstration; the
entire site is generated and validated using the tool itself to
showcase its professional typesetting and indexing capabilities.

Key Technical Highlights:

Layout Parity: Eliminates cumulative rounding drift (creep) through an Integer-Locked Coordinate System, ensuring 1:1 parity between WebKitGTK and the PDF grid. Integrated Linter: Includes real-time design linters to detect text overflow, missing fonts, and non-deterministic CSS units (px/em) that compromise document integrity. Headless Infrastructure: Features a D-Bus aware Display Sentinel that automatically manages Xvfb lifecycles for server-side deployments. Architecture: Pimpl-shielded ABI ensures identical symbol maps across GTK3 and GTK4 backends. Core engines are lightweight (~95KB).

Debian Quality Assurance:

Verified Build: The source is DFSG-compliant, Multi-Arch ready, and follows DEP-5 copyright standards. Signature Verification: Includes a functional debian/watch file (v4) with upstream GPG signature verification. Stability: ABI-stable (verified with .symbols), Valgrind-clean, and tested in a clean Sid chroot. Documentation: 43-page manual and project website are "dogfooded"—both are generated and validated entirely using the tool itself.

This is my first Debian package, and I have put significant effort into ensuring it meets the project's high standards. I am seeking a sponsor to help bring this modern alternative to wkhtmltopdf into the official archive.

Regards,
