Hi,

I took a closer look at the groff warnings reported for libsdl3-doc
(version 3.2.10+ds) and was able to reproduce them locally. The generated
manpages do trigger errors like:

"character '7' is not allowed as a starting delimiter"

Out of curiosity, I tried the same process with the current upstream SDL
(main branch), as well as SDL2, and in both cases the generated manpages
did not produce any groff warnings.

So it seems the issue has already been addressed upstream, and the Debian
package might just be using an older version of the manpage generator.

Updating to a newer upstream snapshot, or backporting the relevant changes,
should likely resolve the warnings.

Happy to help with a patch or testing if that would be useful.

Thanks,
Ayusman Avisek Nanda
