Dear Maintainer, I upgraded my system to Debian 13. I then locked the system and left it alone for a while. When I returned to the system, the computer was warmer than typical after being locked for a long period. When I unlocked the machine, it gave me password prompts about "Authentication is required to suspend the system" (Details: polkit.subject-pid: 1901, polkit.caller-pid: 1064, action: org.freedesktop.login1.suspend, vendor: The systemd Project) and "Authentication is required to place the system in suspend or hibernate mode" (Details: polkit.subject-pid: 1901, polkit.caller-pid: 15462, action: org.xfce.power.xfce4-pm-helper, vendor: Xfce Power Manager). When I did not enter my password for these prompts, I then received a notification from Power Manager stating "timeout was reached". I did not expect this to happen. Instead, I expected that the computer would suspend after an extended period of being locked without use, and that I would *not* receive these authentication requests after unlocking my computer, at which point I no longer wished to suspend. I used the instructions at https://wiki.debian.org/Xfce#Suspend_and_backlight_issues to fix the problem, but I think the system should work without these modifications.
