Package: eterm Version: 0.9.6-7 Severity: important Tags: patch X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]
Dear Maintainer, starting with firefox 140 (currently 140.9.0esr) handling of primary selection mechanism from eterm is broken. Impossibility to use middle button pasting is deal breaker for terminal. It seems the reason is that firefox became more strict about enforcing ICCCM specs. This happened on bookworm couple months back, proably as newer firefox was backported. The same is probably true for forky. I am attaching a patch fixing the situation, the technical analysis is within the patch. It would be nice if the fix could be included into the current debian patchset.
