Dear Maintainer, Setup is an Apple M1, running standard Debian Testing, except for a locally compiled kernel and bootloader. debian-bananas repos are not used. This is a regression. Last known working setup was around 2026-03-26. On March 20th, I did my first package updates, including (from apt history.log) sddm:arm64 (0.21.0+git20250502.4fe234b-2+b1, 0.21.0+git20251101.dfa5315-1) systemd:arm64 (259.1-1, 260-1) Since that update, the computer fails to reach the sddm login screen. Mar 25 17:21:18 JMAir sddm[906]: Attempt 1 starting the Display server on vt 2 failed Running systemctl restart sddm temporarily fixes the issue. So far, this seems 100% reproducible. I didn't try to revert any package.
