Package: gnome-screensaver Version: 2.14.2-1 Severity: normal If the clock is adjusted more than the blank timeout (for instance if the system time has been lost and is restored using ntpdate), the screensaver is enabled, despite that the fact that the elapsed real time is only a few seconds.
Timeouts of this kind should not be RTC-based, since the timeout is not related to wall-clock time. The monotonic system clock should be used.
