Excellent, thanks for taking an interest! I still use buici-clock as my desktop clock, and it still sometimes breaks as I described in this bug (not that often - I last restarted it on 27th Feb), so I'm really pleased you're looking at this :)
I'm happy to try test builds, though obviously it takes a while to see if it's fixed (though you could try the hack we used earlier in this bug to make a crash happen more frequently).
