I did some more investigation, and it think the following configuration seems to fix all of my problems: DEFAULT_URL_PATTERN = 'http://%s/mailman' DEFAULT_EMAIL_HOST = 'lists.gforge.nehmer.net' DEFAULT_URL_HOST = 'lists.gforge.nehmer.net' Note, that URL_PATTERN is now again directly linked to the host, without a %s. Instead, these prefixes must go into the other two HOST variables, to get the right URLs and, hopefully, the correct default host_names in the configuration of the individual lists. (Some mails had incorrectly specified [EMAIL PROTECTED] instead of ...lists... in their headers.) I haven't yet tested this in all cases, but it looks good so far. Live long and Prosper!
