Dear Maintainer,

When attempting to open a file under pluma, the "Open Files" dialog doesn't
allow typing in a path manually, nor does it allow pasting a path from the
clipboard.

Instead it tries to place it in a search box, that doesn't accept paths.
(I.e. /home/bob/foo.txt.)
If the file exists in the current directory, it may find it, but that's not
what was desired, and obviously that prevents an absolute path from being used.

Clicking on the directory name at the top only allows moving between
directories in the current path. There is no button to edit the path manually.

Using "Other Locations" on the side bar doesn't allow manual path entry either.
The "Connect to Server" option on that page doesn't recognize "file://" URIs,
which means that to use a path with this option it must be accessible from a
open file share. (Why would we want to expose the localhost's entire filesystem
over SMB????)

As a result to open a file in a different directory, (E.x.
/usr/include/errno.h), one must manually navigate to it using the UI buttons.
Which is a downgrade in functionality from bookworm, and a huge waste of time.
Or by opening from outside pluma using Alt+F2 dialog, (Under XFCE that opens
the Application Finder), or a console.

I should point out that the save file dialog doesn't have this limitation.

Have a good Day!
