I have NMUed bindechexascii to delayed=15. For your convenience I have pushed all changes to https://salsa.debian.org/debian/bindechexascii I added a d/watch file pointing to latest Git commit from upstream. Since it turned out that this segfaults I did not upgrade the packaging but left an additional branch version_20150923.916070f in Git which is adapted to the changes in the upstream build system.
