Starting Linux 7.0, building kernel with C=1/2 in combination of sparse older than v0.6.5-rc1 lead to a warning message "C=1 specified, but sparse is not available or not up to date", effectively reverting C=1/2 to C=0. Please package v0.6.5-rc1 to properly support building Linux 7.0 with C=1/2.
