normally the libtiff-tools should be upgraded on an dist-upgrade so i do not understand why it is severity important. or general a bug. if the package libtiff-tools dont get upgraded when running apt-get dist-upgrade -u then i will change the Depends to libtiff-tools (>= 3.7) libtifftools(3.7.1) in testing/sid understand the -H option. if wish to run capisuite on woody then you need more then a recent libtifftool, you need also an older sfftobmp because the paramters for calling sfftobmp has been changed.
