I have tested the upgrade to 2.1.30-5 (now in experimental) which includes this patch. It seems to have fixed the problem and works to enable the "Global Access List (GAL)" capabilities of Microsoft Exchange in the evolution-exchange package.
Will the upgrades to the 2.2 versions of openldap also include this patch ?
