Thanks for following up!

There is no technical blocker. A stable update wasn't made due to
developer time being spent elsewhere. Debian 13.4 will planned to be
released on March 14th and it will have the MariaDB version that is
available at the end of February (due to stable updates processing
times), probably MariaDB 11.8.6.
