Hi. Just a (very) friendly comment.

I'm a long time Debian and PHPBB user. Sadly, I'm having difficulties
merging the two of them. I have a board that was installed (long ago!)
"manually", and I've been dreaming of running the Debian Package on it for
a long time now, as patching is tedious.

My problem is that the Debian version is always a few behind the
"official" release, and that there is no way to "retrofit" to an earlier
version. And I usually _have_ to patch to stay secure with PHPbb (I've
been hacked twice already). Right now, I'm running 2.0.20, but you're up
to 2.0.18.

The Sid and Etch version are the same (2.0.18 right now). Could it be
possible maybe to introduce the "current" version as the Sid one, and keep
your (very wise) conservatism for the Sarge and Etch versions? After all,
to have the "stock" package, I'm ready to run "unstable" anyday. :)

Thank you for your time.
