I intend to update rust-async-global-executor in Debian soon.
It is currently available in unstable. From 2.x to 3.x there are not
breaking changes, so you should be able to just bump the dependency.
Will raise severity once it his unstable.
Thanks for letting us know. Upstream has a CI pipeline that has pretty
good coverage so if you feel like it just doing MRs for the deb updates
would make that even simpler.
