Package: network-manager
Version: 0.6.3-2
Severity: minor
Hi,
network-manager works great but uses wpa_supplicant in a double-debug mode
/sbin/wpa_supplicant -dd -g /var/run/wpa_supplicant-global
It makes tons of messages appear in /var/log/daemon.log. And for people
using logcheck to be notified of security issues, it makes dozens kB of
warnings be sent every hours.
I would be great to not pass -dd to wpa_supplicant by default, and for
instance have a configuration option (either in /etc/default/something
or in the GUI) to enable wpa_supplicant debug messages.
Thanks,
Brice
