Recently I have been experimenting with sbuild-qemu (based on Antoine's great blog post[1]). I have much success with my amd64 and i386 qemu img, however when trying to build for arm64 I hit the same timeout message as Antoine's last email (quoted above). Note that if I manually run sbuild-qemu-boot on the img it can start up successfully.
I wonder whether there is a way to adjust the timeout so that the arm64 img can boot successfully under sbuild.
