As announced in https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2025/08/msg00150.html I would like to try to remove libgirepository1.0-dev during the forky cycle, and I plan to do a mass-bug filing for this at some point. As a followup from #1085939, I opened https://salsa.debian.org/gstreamer-team/gstreamer1.0/-/merge_requests/24 with changes for gstreamer1.0 that reduce the build-dependencies without altering the binary package contents. Please consider applying this. (I'll try to remember to exclude gstreamer1.0 from the mass bug filing later!) Thanks, smcv
