Thanks for your report. viking currently FTBFS (bug 1098065). My c skills are near non-existent, so I need help to fix that first. Upstream isn't very active the last couple of years, I have even failed to bring the issue forward there.
I guess I should orphan viking, but I don't mind applying patches and upload, and I would fix this issue soon if not for the FTBFS. Anyways, uploaders and NMU's are always welcome (I'm on the lowNMU list).
