I believe gnome-flashback needs changes from upstream git to work with GNOME 49, specifically with gnome-session 49 and gnome-settings-daemon 49, currently in experimental. I don't know whether the changes will work with what is currently in unstable or whether an upload to unstable needs to wait to happen when those GNOME packages are uploaded to unstable.
