Thanks, there was a ZFS signature on the device. I had FreeBSD on it a few years ago, but that is still highly bizarre how a whole-disk ZFS signature ends up on a specific partition like that and even more how the other partitions were un-affected. I've cleared it and it works now. I would still call this a bug in something, but not sure who it should be directed at. Regards, Henrik Morsing --
