Hi,Since debhelper/13.15 (March 2024, in stable now), the `debian/compat` file was replaced by the new `X-DH-Compat` field in `debian/control` for compat 14+ packages.
To avoid immediately breaking all the packages for all early adopters, the compat 14 packages can still use `debian/compat` on a grace timer until `debhelper/14` is released.
Please:
1) Add `X-DH-Compat: 14` to the `Source` stanza of `debian/control`
2) Remove `debian/compat`
3) Consider subscribing to #1072698 for other significant updates to
compat 14. The bug will also have known issues/"blockers".
This bug will become RC immediately upon `debhelper/14` being released.

PS: I see the package is on salsa in the Debian group, so I will do a
patch for it in the VCS.
