Hi Andrew, thanks for reporting this. There is a patch in git (next branch) https://salsa.debian.org/debian/socklog/-/commit/6f076ebd2b3af7318739259869daaa6efb11f5bb but it's quite convoluted and I don't have a machine with Sysv for testing at hand. If you are available for testing this, please report the following: 1. fresh install socklog-run: are socklog-unix and socklog-klog enabled and running? Note that for the service to start it may take up to 7 seconds from when the symlink is created in postinstall. 2. remove socklog-run: what is the status of socklog-unix and socklog-klog (the expected is 'down')? 3. purge socklog-run package: are /etc/sv/socklog-* gone? Any error on the console during dpkg operations? Best, Lorenzo
