Dear Maintainer, awesome does not run properly in a system in which glib-2.86 is installed because it uses symbols (Gio.Unix*) that have been moved from the Gio namespace to the GioUnix namespace. Thus some operations such as spawning a process won't work anymore as reflected by the autopkgtests failures. The patch fixing the issue is at: https://salsa.debian.org/3v1n0/awesome/-/commit/d184a1f312f63bc2bab68862 And upstreamed at: https://github.com/awesomeWM/awesome/pull/4022 See: https://qa.debian.org/excuses.php?experimental=1&package=glib2.0 See: https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/packages/awesome/questing/amd64 See: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glib/-/issues/3776 See: https://salsa.debian.org/gnome-team/glib/-/merge_requests/56
