Please be more cautious: When you need confirmation, don't request removal. Instead, file the bugreport against the package, and only when the confirmation has been achieved (or sensible delay has been reached) reassign to ftp.debian.org. Also, please beware that "dead upstream" is not in itself a reason for removal, nor is "in a fast changing ecosystem". Feel free to reach out _before_ working on some package unfamiliar to you if you want to limit the risk of a learning experience expensive in time and effort invested. For the record, the situation is not that reverse deps have gone, but that its only reverse dependency has not yet been packaged (and to prove the point of the above, that reverse dependency is also "dead upstream" since 2013 yet it is still a useful tool today): https://bugs.debian.org/673634 All that said: Yes, I can confirm that the package is obsolete, and am fine with it being dropped from Debian. - Jonas -- * Jonas Smedegaard - idealist & Internet-arkitekt * Tlf.: +45 40843136 Website: http://dr.jones.dk/ * Sponsorship: https://ko-fi.com/drjones [x] quote me freely [ ] ask before reusing [ ] keep private
