I am upstream for littler as well. Initially the package was more 'complicated' but this changed fundamentally when I reorganised it as a CRAN package so I should be able to simplify to a standard CRAN package build, plus installation as /usr/bin/r and the manpage. | As an extra this move will also fix #985898. Can you be more specific? This is still a 'special' package in the sense that a binary is produced which is uncommon for a CRAN package: these usually contain a package for R with or without a shared library part.
