Package: furo Version: 2025.07.19+dfsg-1 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]
When packaging this version of furo, modern SASS directives are not processed, leaking into the resulting theme CSS and breaking the theme. Running tail /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/furo/theme/furo/static/styles/furo.css demonstrates the problem. The root cause is that this package uses sassc (i.e. libsass), which is deprecated and does not implement these new directives. -- System Information: Debian Release: forky/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: arm64 (aarch64) Kernel: Linux 6.16.3+deb14-arm64 (SMP w/2 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages furo depends on: ii python3 3.13.5-1 ii python3-accessible-pygments 0.0.5-2 ii python3-bs4 4.13.4-4 ii python3-pygments 2.18.0+dfsg-2 ii python3-sphinx 8.2.3-2 ii sphinx-basic-ng 1.0.0~beta2-1 furo recommends no packages. furo suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
