CDBS is being slowly sunset and all (non-Haskell) packages are encouraged to move to DebHelper to get modern tooling support. More importantly "libedac1-dbg" is the very last "-dbg" package generated with CDBS tooling. This tooling could be pruned after a edac-utils uptade. DebHelper will generate an automatic debug package. Greetings Alexandre
