retitle 374790 http fetcher gets stuck when Server: field is missing thanks
Okay, forget the part about insufficient debugging, I found enough after with the configure-index.gz and looking trough the source. However, the problem seem to come from HTTP replies where some data is missing. Apparently the Server header in 404 answers.
