Package: libpango1.0-0 Version: 1.8.0-3 Severity: normal File: libpango1.0
When starting any pango-using applcation such as gvim, firefox and gnumeric the following error appears: (gvim:19177): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_ref: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed (gvim:19177): Pango-CRITICAL **: _pango_engine_shape_shape: assertion `PANGO_IS_FONT (font)' failed Pango-ERROR **: file shape.c: line 75 (pango_shape): assertion failed: (glyphs->num_glyphs > 0) I had some GTK errors recently, after upgrading, but those appeared to be caused by a custom libglib installation. I removed that installation and as far as I can see only official libraries are used now. ldd /usr/bin/gvim 1 libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 (0xb7cf4000) libgdk-x11-2.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libgdk-x11-2.0.so.0 (0xb7c83000) libatk-1.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libatk-1.0.so.0 (0xb7c65000) libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libgdk_pixbuf-2.0.so.0 (0xb7c4f000) libm.so.6 => /lib/tls/libm.so.6 (0xb7c2d000) libpangoxft-1.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libpangoxft-1.0.so.0 (0xb7c26000) libpangox-1.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libpangox-1.0.so.0 (0xb7c1b000) libpango-1.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libpango-1.0.so.0 (0xb7be1000) libgobject-2.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libgobject-2.0.so.0 (0xb7bad000) libgmodule-2.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libgmodule-2.0.so.0 (0xb7ba9000) libglib-2.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0 (0xb7b29000) libXt.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXt.so.6 (0xb7ad8000) libncurses.so.5 => /lib/libncurses.so.5 (0xb7a99000) libgpm.so.1 => /usr/lib/libgpm.so.1 (0xb7a92000) libc.so.6 => /lib/tls/libc.so.6 (0xb795e000) libX11.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6 (0xb7897000) libdl.so.2 => /lib/tls/libdl.so.2 (0xb7894000) libSM.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libSM.so.6 (0xb788b000) libICE.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libICE.so.6 (0xb7874000) libXrandr.so.2 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXrandr.so.2 (0xb786f000) libXi.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXi.so.6 (0xb7867000) libXext.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.so.6 (0xb7859000) libXft.so.2 => /usr/lib/libXft.so.2 (0xb7847000) libfreetype.so.6 => /usr/lib/libfreetype.so.6 (0xb77da000) libz.so.1 => /usr/lib/libz.so.1 (0xb77c8000) libfontconfig.so.1 => /usr/lib/libfontconfig.so.1 (0xb77a0000) libXcursor.so.1 => /usr/lib/libXcursor.so.1 (0xb7797000) libXrender.so.1 => /usr/lib/libXrender.so.1 (0xb778f000) /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0xb7fea000) libpangoft2-1.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libpangoft2-1.0.so.0 (0xb7769000) libexpat.so.1 => /usr/lib/libexpat.so.1 (0xb7748000) -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-rc1-mm1 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages libpango1.0-0 depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libfontconfig1 2.2.3-4 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.1.7-2.3 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libglib2.0-0 2.6.3-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libpango1.0-common 1.8.0-3 Modules and configuration files fo ii libx11-6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-12.0.1 X Window System protocol client li ii libxft2 2.1.2-6 FreeType-based font drawing librar ii libxrender1 0.8.3-7 X Rendering Extension client libra ii xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-12 X Keyboard Extension (XKB) configu ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-4 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
