Package: fetchit
Version: 1.3.0
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

I am requesting the inclusion of fetchit in the official Debian repositories.

* What led up to the situation?
I developed fetchit to address the need for a reliable, lightweight tool for
fetching and managing package sources. The tool has reached stable
functionality and would benefit the Debian community.

* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?
I have developed, tested, and maintained fetchit with proper Debian packaging
standards. The package is functional and ready for distribution, but requires
inclusion in the official repositories for broader availability.

* What was the outcome of this action?
The package exists and functions correctly but is only available through my
personal repository/distribution channel.

* What outcome did you expected instead?
I would like fetchit to be available in the official Debian repositories so
users can install it via standard package management tools without needing to
add external repositories.

The package is ready for review and inclusion. The source code and Debian
packaging are available at:
- Salsa: https://salsa.debian.org/NotKeira/fetchit
- GitHub: https://github.com/NotKeira/fetchit

Please let me know if any additional information or modifications are required.

Kind regards,
Keira Hopkins
