Hi! In the earlier discussions of these bugs it was suggested that the nordugrid-arc package has a stronger claim to the name arcstat and that the binary in zfsutils-linux should change name. The name zarcstat was suggested for this purpose. (See earlier messages in LTS.)
As the maintainer of nordugrid-arc I therefore did not take any further action, since my understanding was that the ball is in the court of the maintainer of zfsutils-linux. Keeping the two binaries in /usr/bin and /usr/sbin is not a long-term solution. Some distribution have already merged sbin and bin (making sbin a symlink to bin) and this will possibly happen in Debian too. Mattias Ellert nordugrid-arc maintainer.
