Package: slim
Version: 1.4.1-2
Severity: normal
Followup-For: Bug #1107505

Dear Maintainer,

after upgrading to debian trixie, I found that a number of administrative
commands failed to work, for example,
many files in /proc became inaccessible:

   # ll /proc/1/ns/pid
ls: cannot read symbolic link '/proc/1/ns/pid': Permission denied

As it turns out, this is caused by this bug.

Since this has far reaching consequences and breaks a large number of
prpograms and uses in a very unintuitive way, please consider this a
real bug.
