The January, 2023 version changed focus behaviour. From the
changelog: "Let 9menu get the focus so that the arrow keys can be
used." My form-filling application no longer works. E.g.,

 $ echo "Menu item 1:echo 'str Item One' | xte" | 9menu -file -

With previous versions, 9menu would not have focus and xte would
write "Item One" into the selected form element in the window under
the menu. Now it goes nowhere.

Is there a workaround? Could an option be added to disable focus?

Thanks..  Bill
