Greetings,
It would seem fetchmail missed its chance to update to 6.5.X in time for
trixie, and now Ubuntu figured out the older 6.4.39 version doesn't
compile well with newer compilers in C23 or similar modes ->

That aside, it 6.4.39 also lacks a lot of bug fixes that appeared in
6.5.0.

Please update to 6.5.4 or newer for future releases. (I haven't
released 6.5.5 yet because the Cyrus team were very quick to fix that
bug on all supported releases.)
