We've always disagreed about these suggestions :)

As I mentioned I'm planning to go through all the manpages soon to do
updates for tag2upload, and I'll think about this then.  If we are going
to end up recommending using tag2upload in all of them, then the
suggestion would disappear as a consequence of that.
