This seems like something that should be coordinated with the release
team as a transition shortly after forky opens.
I think we should also avoid migrating any language bindings from
libgirepository-1.0-1 to libgirepository-2.0-0 until after #1110825 is
resolved, to avoid brokenness during future libffi ABI transitions.
